Today, Wi-Fi’s wireless connections make physical network cables a rarity. But that’s just the beginning. Technological forces are converging to make a lot of other wires in our lives look like relics. 2018 might not be the year when every cord disappears from your house, but it could begin a new big phase of uncluttering.

Well, apparently, now you can – except you have to have a gazillion of money to do so. Private yacht designer Migaloo Submarines recently dropped a submarine design that can trump even the most expensive sailboat in the world. The Migaloo is a concept designed and built as a yacht with a helipad, a deck pool, a movie theater, and can house eight VIP guests.

Angel’s Pizza! The Pizza from Hell – stay away! Far, far away!

After seeing this photo proudly posted on Angel’s Pizza’s web site, I am no longer surprised that their product and service is aligned with murderous criminality – the worst our country has ever seen in this modern age of lightning fast, fake news.

Having been convinced (Gullible? Generous?) to avail of “promo coupons” that would have usually offered significant savings for pizza-craving Ninja Turtle fans – I ventured into my first reception with The Pizzeria Formerly Known as Domino’s.

It was a bad first experience. Very, very bad! Here’s the letter I sent them after I cancelled my order then enjoyed a warm, fresh, succulent feast from Shakey’s:

I have given your customer service personnel attending to your 922-2222 number two suggestions after having tried, in vain, to see if your web site supports your Great Ideas coupon promo. I have been busy filling up your online order form to pass the time and perhaps ease the burden of information overload with names, email addresses, house addresses, card numbers, phone numbers, and whatnot.

#1. Your web site knows nothing about your promo. #2. I’ve seen better food photography from Instagram posts made with mobile phones. #3. Your web site just suddenly decided to end the information request and thanked me for my order! Read up on UX (User Experience) for the web.

#4. Then upon receiving your callback about my online order, and going through all the motions with the names, email addresses, house addresses, card numbers, phone numbers, etc., I was informed that it would take 1 hour and 45 mins for my order to reach my house. I informed her that this was pizza, not fine dining!

You are redefining what fast food was designed for! Anyway, I asked what hours I should order so as not to overwhelm your kitchen, and I was (Horrors!) informed not to order anytime between 11am and 8pm! Are you sure you’re in the right industry?

I will, eventually, get my money back from your Great Ideas coupon promo but sadly, everyone within shouting, speaking, and whispering distance, and that includes the entire gamut of social media, will hear about this. You should have prepared before venturing gung ho into the void of fastfood consumerism! Good luck!

House on stilts designed to withstand deadly calamities boasts glass wall, sliding steel panels

Filipinos: Stop wasting taxpayer money on this constant and ridiculous ‘cover your head with a notebook’ silly-ass #MMShakeDrill #scam and inspire your citizenry to use their cojones polished by our world-class universities instead of screaming “corruption” at the top of your lungs and blatantly allowing these “development authority” goons get away with our future.

It is designed with steel panels that can be slid aside to reveal sweeping glass walls. A floor-to-ceiling steel wall is suspended on the side of the house with the help of a cantilevered beam. If worse comes to worst, it can be slid to protect the front of the house. It is raised from the ground with steel stilts and designed with wood as the primary material for the interiors to show contrast and durability.

Air conditioning systems operate most efficiently at full speed during longer periods of time. So kicking it on a lower temperature when you get home will save you more money than the AC cycling on and off while you’re away.
