A decade after wowing the world with the most successful nature documentary to date, the BBC is about to release the sequel Planet Earth II. Much like its predecessor, the new 6-part series uses some of the latest camera tech for breathtaking and unprecedented cinematography of the natural world.

The new Sony AIBO ERS-220 looks more robot-like as compared to its predecessors, with an antenna instead of ears and fancy lights including a retractable head light. With an optional wireless LAN card, one can watch live footage from its cameras and control it wirelessly up to a distance of 90 meters or 295 feet. BBC News has a review.
