Developed scripts and utilities in Unix ksh, csh and Tcl/Tk; as well as Hardware/Network Administration tasks. Wrote ksh and csh scripts for automating the backup of final animation frames to tape, generating regular system activity reports in Excel-readable form among other miscellaneous scripts; and developed an Excel-based production tracking system using Visual Basic for Applications.
Provided consultation services to several local animation companies concerning network design, integration, installation, implementation and expansion.

As Project Manager for the transfer of Form Toonworks Manila’s post-production and SGI network equipment and suites to a three-storey building structure at its present location; took charge of the strategic planning and implementation of the move with minimal downtime and resource expenditure. Tasks included network layout planning and installation utilizing both new cabling and the efficient recycle of cabling from Toonworks’ previous location.
Performed SGI hardware and peripherals installation, troubleshooting and upgrades as well as system and third-party software installation and maintenance. Provided user as well as on-call support for both the production and post-production departments of the company.

Took on project management tasks involving the successful configuration, installation and networking of Silicon Graphics, Windows NT and Macintosh workstations in the animation, post-production and multimedia industries. Perform modeling and animation of computer-generated images for television commercials and film applications; as Animation Director, directs CGI projects involving character animation.

Upon completion of ABS-CBN’s own Post-Production Facility, functioned as ADO programmer, vision mixer and computer editor using Ampex Betacam SPs, Ampex ADO 100, Ampex ACE 25 and Ampex VISTA switcher. Also in charge of installation, maintenance and operator-training for the Division’s Macintosh computers utilizing a variety of type-manipulation and page-layout software in the production of artworks for print and broadcast use.
